Featured Presenters

Sameer D. Saini, M.D., M.S., is a gastroenterologist at U-M Health System and the Ann Arbor VA, and a researcher at the VA Center for Clinical Management Research. Dr. Saini's research focuses on prevention of colon cancer, with a particular focus on ways to personalize cancer screening decisions. He will talk about the various screening tests for colon cancer, colon cancer risk, and things to consider when making a screening decision.

Aisha Langford, Ph.D., M.P.H. is a research fellow with the Ann Arbor VA and the U-M Center for Bioethics & Social Sciences in Medicine. Dr. Langford’s research areas include health communications and health disparities. She will talk about ways to improve communication with your doctor and will also highlight tools that are available to help you manage your health and make medical decisions.
