Join us for our 23rd Survivors' Day Celebration: Hope Blooms

Mike Verano presents: Sowing Seeds of Wellness

Mike is a cancer survivor, licensed therapist, certified employee assistance professional and recovering “stressoholic” with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. He is the author of several books on stress and mindfulness and has had articles published in national and international magazines including Coping with Cancer, Spirituality & Health and Yoga Magazine. Mike is a nationally recognized public speaker who has presented trainings in a variety of settings including the Kennedy Space Center, NASA, and the US Census Bureau. He is a self-described “pacifist in the war on cancer,” and seeks to help those going through the cancer experience find hope and wellness in the midst of it all.

In addition to our featured speaker, we'll also have:

  • Information fair/exhibits on survivorship issues
  • Light refreshments
  • Door Prizes

All cancer survivors, family, friends and health care providers are welcome to attend. Cancer touches many lives!.
