Tissue Procurement and Evaluation Excellence to Support Research

The Tissue and Molecular Pathology Shared Resource consists of several distinct, yet complimentary services, all relating to the procurement and evaluation of tissue for research:

Our lab uses global gene expression methods to classify human tumors, delineate novel diagnostic and predictive markers and uncover genes involved in tumorigenesis.

Pathology Support Across all Areas of Cancer Research

Housed within a centralized facility, the Tissue and Molecular Pathology Shared Resource supports the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center’s investigators with a range of services for both fresh and frozen tissue, including:

  • Tissue Microarray Service
  • Anonymous Paraffin Bank
  • DNA-FISH and RNA-FISH Service
  • Frozen Tumor Bank
