Candle Lighting for Hope & Remembrance

WHEN:Saturday, October 4, 2014
Resources and Refreshments are offered at 6pm.   The program begins at 7pm

Where:   Under the front entrance of the Cancer Center
1500 East Medical Center Drive, Ann Arbor

Participants are encouraged to bring small mementos and photographs to be displayed during the ceremony.

Shared burdens get a little lighter . . . Follow the transitions of loss through art, music and readings. Listen as families share stories of their loved ones.

Anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one due to cancer is invited to attend this free, annual event. Candles are lit in memory of those lost and as testament to our hope and commitment that cancer and blood disorders will be conquered. View the Remembrance DVD of submitted photos. Display a treasured memento of your loved one. Light a candle in memory of those lost -- and as testament to our hope and commitment that cancer and blood disorders will be conquered.
