Coping Through Transitions

A Guide for Those Who are Grieving

The following information won't tell you how to mourn. No two people react the same way, and there is no "right" way to feel during this difficult time.

Instead, think of this information as a general guide based on the experiences of others.

Use it to help navigate through difficult times -- like holidays and birthdays -- and to help keep track of necessary logistical details that might seem insignificant in relation to your loss.

Grieving is not about forgetting.

It's about finding a way to live the life that your loved ones would want for you -- a full life that continues to be influenced and shaped by the ones you hold dear, even after their deaths.
