Multidisciplinary Endocrine Oncology Clinic

Our clinic brings experts in related fields together to provide coordinated, exceptional patient care to those diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Patients benefit from the experience and expertise of many physicians, not just one.

Our multidisciplinary tumor board meets once a week to discuss every patient who comes through our doors. A room full of experts - specialists in treating not only thyroid cancer but other endocrine cancers - sit together to talk through the best treatment options, including clinical trials, for each individual. Patients get the benefit of several expert opinions.

Services include:

  • Advanced diagnostics
    • Ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration of thyroid nodules and suspicious neck lymph nodes
    • Access to molecular testing for indeterminant thyroid nodules
  • Specialized therapies
    • Surgical expertise in thyroid cancer including expertise in performing central and lateral neck dissections
    • Access to dosimetry in the treatment of advanced iodine avid thyroid cancer
  • Innovative care models
    • Therapy and surveillance of endocrine issues in cancer survivors
