This seminar will help you learn to prevent and manage upper extremity lymphedema

Who: Patients undergoing cancer surgery involving the arm, chest or back are invited to attend

Lymphedema is a side effect of cancer surgery that can be prevented and managed.

Join lymphedema experts from the Michigan Medicine Departments of Physical & Occupational Therapy in this education session.

Through education and an open forum discussion, participants will gain an understanding of upper extremity lymphedema, and the resources available to manage it.

The class takes place on the second Tuesday of each month 1:30 to 2:30pm.
